Blog it, and it will Be!
In the Weird Coincidences department…
The day after I published my last blog post, a new series of ads went up in the Oslo subway system, featuring money origami! I think I did a double-take the first time I saw one of the signs at the station, but unfortunately my camera battery needed to be charged, so I couldn’t take a photo of the ads until yesterday:

Don’t ask me to explain what they’re all about. With the angels and wise men folded in origami out of cash, it seems to be some kind of slightly inappropriate blend of religious and consumerist holiday messages.
The ads are for one of the big malls downtown, and weird ads are their modus operandi. Whenever we’re watching the ads before a film at the cinema and something strange and bizarre comes on, we just say, “Oh. It must be Oslo City.” And it usually is.

That’s a crazy coincidence! Very cool ads. Says it all about modern Christmas, IMO.

Oslo City has the WEIRDEST ads! What’s the deal with them? I have yet to see ONE that actually makes me want to shop there!
