Hitchhiker’s Guide to Iceland

Tuesday, 11 March 2008 -- 9:09 pm

I was shopping for tickets to fly back to the US this summer, and I visited the website for Iceland Air to check their prices.  (Believe it or not, an often-economical way to fly between Scandinavia and the US is via Reykjavik.)  On the homepage of the site, I was distracted by the following advertisement:
Free Towel with IcelandAir Vacation Purchase

Perhaps it’s because I just read three Douglas Adams stories in a row (starting with So Long and Thanks for All the Fish), but I thought this ad must really only be targeted to fans of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!
