It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Wednesday, 29 October 2008 -- 10:20 pm

Today was Oslo’s first snowfall of the season, and it was a big one!  A thick covering all over the city, and huge chunky snowflakes.  Since it’s started to get dark quite early, the bright white landscape is a welcome respite from the gloom.  With such a thick snowfall, it feels especially cozy and wintery.  I’m actually starting to think about Christmas lights and silver bells!

While Rema1000 had their cases of Julebrus delivered weeks ago, they now have a big display of other Christmas goodies out to tempt us.  Pepperkake, Christmas marzipan, etc.  The holidays are indeed upon us!

Oh, and Happy Halloween!

We both realized that it’s so much fun looking at your Oslo pics now that we have an idea of what we’re looking at. And we also decided that we’re very happy we came to visit in the summer :) Pretty, but it looks cold!! Plus I don’t have ice picks for my shoes :)
