One Year in Norway!

Thursday, 13 March 2008 -- 10:45 pm

I just realized that since I left for India right at the end of January, I never made any special mention of the one-year mark!  So this is a little late, but Happy Anniversary to us!  I think this calls for cake!

Traditional Norwegian Kransekake

(No, I didn’t make that cake.  Unless “making” a cake includes “Photoshopping” a cake!)

Whoo hoo! That’s quite a cake! :) Congratulations – up here, after 1 year, you are finally a viable candidate for posted jobs. (they want to make sure you’re tough enough to stay)

Those cakes always make me think of Roselyn’s bakery. They just look like a ring of donuts. I ate part of one at a wedding, though – good stuff :)

Before you two get any ideas, I did not make that cake! I just found it online and photoshopped it a tiny bit. Although you can buy smaller pre-made versions at the supermarket sometimes.
